Easy 30-Day Return Policy

We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell in accordance with our return policy. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to SOFTBUYWEB within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.

If your original item included free items, you must return all associated items for a full refund; the retail value of any free items you keep will be deducted from your reimbursement total.

Products not eligible for return

  • Opened software
  • Products with customer-induced damage as follows,
    VR Headsets, Headphones, including Airpods, Earbuds and Over-the-Ear Products (COVID-19 Safety Measure)
        Microphones (COVID-19 Safety Measure)
        All Phones (COVID-19 Safety Measure)
  • Electronic Software Downloads
  • Opened consumable items (e.g., film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, ink cartridges, etc.)
  • Underwater equipment that has been submerged

Defective or Damaged Items

Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.


Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.

Refunds & Credits

All refunds will be based upon your original payment method.

Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued no sooner than 10 business days after the date of purchase. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Limited Liability

SOFTBUYWEB is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. SOFTBUYWEB is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only. Also, claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.

If you are shipping the product back to us, contact Customer Service first.

Returns for orders being shipped back require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number, which is valid for 10 days. To obtain an RMA Number, contact Customer Service.

When you call, please provide the Customer Service Support Representative with:

    Order Number
    SKU Number of each product
    Nature of the problem

After the Customer Support Representative has taken the necessary information, he or she will process it and provide you with an RMA Number. No returns will be accepted without an RMA Number.

After you have obtained your RMA Number, follow the appropriate steps to return the merchandise.

Return by Shipping

Pack the item securely in the original packaging. Include all contents of the original package such as manuals, discs, cables, etc. If all contents are not included, you may be charged an Open Box fee as described in the Return Policy.

In the package, place a copy of the packing list that came with your order. Keep the original packing list for your records. If you do not have the packing list, you will need to include the following information:

      Order Number
        Billing Name
        Billing Address

Ship your return to our Distribution Center. We recommend the Postal Service, UPS or Federal Express. All shipping charges must be prepaid and the shipment must be insured for the full value of the merchandise being returned.

Keep the shipping tracking number. This number will identify the receiving date of your package.
Your refund will be in the form of your original payment (on the same credit card as the original purchase) and will take up to 14 days to process. Depending on the cycle of your credit / debit card, it may take up to two cycles for the credit to be applied to your account.

*NOTE! Returns cannot be accepted without an RMA number included on the shipping label. Please do not write your RMA number on the box.
